Lisa Hartley

Lisa has been working as Chartered Counselling Psychologist within Forensic Settings for over 11 years and is a Registered Practitioner with the Health Care Professionals Council.

Lisa is currently working as an Independent Practitioner.  Prior to this she worked for 9 years in Forensic Medium and Low Secure services as a Senior Psychologist where she worked with male and female patients presenting with a range of mental health needs including personality disorder, mental illness, substance use issues, learning disabilities and cognitive deficits.  She also provided clinical and managerial supervision to Forensic, Clinical and Counselling Psychologist, Forensic Psychologists in training and Assistant Psychologists. Prior to this Lisa worked for over 6 years in a range of services specialising in supporting and managing individuals stepping down from secure services and those that presented with complex risk behaviours, such a violence, sexual violence, self-harm and suicide. Both of these roles involved delivery of therapeutic and offence focused psychological interventions including Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and included specialist risk assessment and management and report writing and communication.

Lisa is able to undertake assessments for criminal proceedings, including pre-sentence reports and post sentence reports and civil processing, including parenting assessments for family proceedings.
