Forensic Psychological Services Ltd is an independent practice providing psychological assessment and expert evidence to solicitors, courts, tribunals and public bodies across the United Kingdom. We are based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and our associates work nationally.
We are instructed in criminal and prison law, family and care proceedings, Mental Health Review Tribunals and immigration matters. Alongside that work we provide private autism and ADHD assessment for adults, young people and families, both within proceedings and for people who simply want answers about themselves.
Our practice is deliberately small in administration and broad in expertise. Every enquiry is handled by the same office team, and every report is written by a chartered or HCPC registered practitioner with direct clinical and forensic experience of the population being assessed. We do not sub-contract report writing.
Independence matters to us. Our duty is to the court, not to the instructing party, and our reports say what the evidence supports even when that is not what anyone hoped to read.
