Laura is a Forensic Psychologist who is registered with the Health Care Professions Council. Laura qualified in 2019 and is currently employed in the Offender Personality Disorder Pathway within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and HMPPS. Laura has previously worked for many years in the healthcare sector in low, medium and high secure hospital settings.
Laura has experience of working with individuals presenting with complex vulnerabilities, including intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, mental illness, personality disorder and trauma related difficulties.
Laura has extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of men who have committed sexual offences. In addition, she is experienced in using formal risk assessments and is trained to assess the presence of autism spectrum disorder (ADOS and ADI-R) cognitive functioning (WAIS-IV) and memory vulnerabilities (WMS-IV).
