Laura is a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Forensic Psychologist as well as a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS). Laura is a practitioner psychologist at Newham Personality Disorder Service, she has experience providing assessments for prisoners/forensic patients as well as case formulation and treatment planning for patients with complex needs including personality disorder and psychosis. Having worked in high and medium security settings Laura has experience working through assessments and treatment of both violent and sexual offenders as well as being skilled in Dialectical Behaviour group and individual therapist and delivering training and lectures in DBT.
Laura also has experience in group and individual consultation to probation officers regarding complex personality disordered offenders and has delivered training on Personality Disorder to probation teams and volunteer mentors. Laura is trained in undertaking assessments for young offenders and has experience in screening for OPD pathway. She is also trained in undertaking WAIS assessments as well as assessing violent and sexual offending risk for adult offenders.
