Dr Katherine Hildyard

Katherine is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist.

Katherine has 25 years experience of working with people across the lifespan who are neurodivergent (Autistic, have ADHD and/ or a learning disability). Katherine worked for many years in lead roles within Community Learning Disability and Neurodevelopmental teams in the NHS and for Higher Education, as well as a Consultant Clinical Tutor for the Sheffield Clinical Psychology Doctorate programme and more recently as Senior Academic tutor for the Liverpool University Perinatal Clinical Psychology course.

Katherine now works as an independent practitioner providing comprehensive and NICE guideline compliant assessments of Autism, ADHD and learning disability, having a specialist interest and expertise in providing assessments to inform the courts, pre-trial or for parole hearings. Katherine is trained in the ‘gold standard’ assessment tools and has extensive experience in providing specialist supervision and training.
