Jenny Ingram

Jenny is a Forensic Psychologist, who is Chartered with the British Psychological Society and Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. She qualified in 2008. Jenny has previously worked in a low and medium forensic mental health setting, between 2010 and 2016. Prior to this role she was employed by HM Prison Service, from 2000 to 2010. She has worked independently since 2016.

During her career, Jenny has worked with adult male, female and young offenders. She has also worked with patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983/2007), who have presented with a range of mental health needs, including those with personality disorder, substance misuse problems and cognitive deficits. In addition to the completion of risk assessment reports, she has been involved in delivering treatment, including both group-based and individualised interventions.

Jenny has extensive experience in preparing reports for Parole Boards, using a range of risk assessment procedures (including the HCR-20, SVR-20, SARA and RSVP). She also has experience in a number of treatment approaches, including: Dialectical Behaviour Therapy; Schema Focused Therapy; Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy.
