Emma is a Consultant Forensic Psychologist who is Chartered with the British Psychological Society and is a Registered Practitioner with the Health and Care Professions Council. Emma has over 18 years’ experience, with 10 years post qualification experience.

Emma is currently working as an Independent Practitioner. Prior to this Emma has worked within a range of sectors including the within prisons where she has worked with adult males and young offenders aged 15-21. Additionally, Emma has worked in the adult and children’s social care sectors. Emma has previously held the role of Group Director of Therapeutic Services for a national private provider. Within this role she was responsible for the development and delivery of the therapeutic model across residential homes, independent schools and supported accommodation. Emma was part of the senior leadership team and worked closely on all aspects of service development, policy, staff training and support.

Emma has significant experience in assessing and undertaking interventions with individuals with a history of trauma, personality disorder, mental illness, substance use issues, learning disabilities and cognitive deficits. She also provided clinical and managerial supervision to Forensic, Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, Forensic Psychologists in Training and Assistant Psychologists. Emma is able to undertake assessments for criminal proceedings, including pre-sentence reports, post sentence reports and parole reports in addition to civil processing, including parenting assessments for family proceedings and assessments of Children and Young People.
