Catherine is a Forensic Psychologist who is Chartered with the British Psychological Society and is a Registered Practitioner with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Catherine has been qualified for 14 years and is currently employed by Nottingham Healthcare NHS Trust as a Senior Forensic Psychologist in a high secure hospital where she provides a psychological service to adult males with mental health and offending histories.
Catherine has extensive experience of working in secure forensic settings having previously been employed by HM Prison Service as a Forensic Psychologist. Her experience has led her to specialise in the assessment, management and treatment of high risk individuals in criminal justice and mental health settings; she has developed specialist skills in working with individuals with personality disorder and she has worked with woman offenders and sexual offenders. Catherine is trained in a range of risk assessments and personality assessments including PCL-R. She is also a qualified therapist in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
Catherine is able to undertake assessments for criminal proceedings including pre-sentence reports, post-sentence reports and risk assessments for the purposes of parole.
